It's an advantage that NGS is just as casual as it is, heck if I were to cover any mobile games, I've probably be more busy than being a NGS Creator of all things. Anyways I do remember enjoying my Gameboy Color's copy of Lufia 2 and it's amazing for just being a simple RPG on the Gameboy of all things and it is truly underrated. Hope to see you cover the series too!

I see why I preferred the older PSO2 given so much open travel space here let alone that prologue didn't save properly. Marathon session for an hour is a pain. Glad PSO has blue burst and probably other private servers.

So this is basically pso2, just not always online and with a different name and much more story focused. They made a single-player, mostly offline version of pso2, and then they only released it on the ps vita and only in Japan. Possibly making this the most obscure phantasy star game outside of Japan.

1:41:43 I used to be someone who played from open beta PSO2 through NGS but I stopped 6 months ago. I was the last person left on my Team on JP but I still played. When Wellbia was introduced, I used it to finally move on, played a bit of Clementine, played some other games, I recently got into Ephinea and wished I joined when an event was happening. 1:52:45 I played PSO2 for over a decade, hardly much was allowed to be brought over to NGS. We kept the music and Mag appearances but old outfits were tied to old body type, NGS-spec outfits are resold back to players. My Room/Quarters related stuff resold back to players and already existing My Room/Quarters items can't be used in NGS period. I spent years aquiring stuff that can't even be used in NGS; I don't mind them EoSing NGS and deleting everything. That's what happened to PSU, I wouldn't expect any different for PSO2/NGS. I more than likely won't touch a PSO3 or a Phantasy Star 5 unless it is handled drastically different than NGS was and even then, it still has to be good.

Love this game glad they are still making updates and new stuff for it.

I like that the lava region guys look like legit villains. The commander looks like he has the Sharingan and Rinnegan.

By no means am I defending ngs. However, if it's such a big problem, then why don't you just stop playing? Not playing and taking part in pso2 is ultimately what will show Sega that people are unhappy. I see so many people complain about the game but refuse to put it down and move on.

1:05:22 I had the same issue with weapons since PSO2. In PSO1, there were rare weapons that were unique like the Spread Needle or the Frozen Shooter that separates themselves from regular weapons. In PSO2, almost everything is uniform and with NGS, that uniformity made sense with the multiweapon system but even so a weapon series doesn't feel the same as something unique. 1:36:28 I'm on permanent "vacation". I played PSO2 since open beta, I took breaks from PSO2 a few times and I came back. I don't want to come back to NGS, and now that I'm playing other games, it feels good to not play NGS. Feeling of missing out and sunken cost fallacy together is an awful cage but once you break out of that cage, it feels great. 1:44:53 Seems pretty decent to me (a person with no business background). The problem is that everything will be riding on how successful Teams 1 & 2 are. Team 1 running NGS needs to pull NGS out of it's own ass; both Teams 1 & 2 need people with creative muscle. T1 needs story and content that is engaging, it's going to take quite the miracle to turn NGS around. T2 specifically for new Phatasy Star titles will need the same thing: talented, creative people doing their best to not make what NGS has become and make something that will get people excited and want to play. These 2 teams will be needed sooner than later, thus success depends on them. Team 4 needs the same thing and while suck work would be great, NGS is here now and people would be more hyped for a new PS game than something that expands lore. I disagree with Team 3 bringing back servers for old titles (PSO BB, PSU) as you don't want to risk fragmenting and basically cannibalizing the player base who are interested in Phantasy Star. Even if you mean having just 1 subscription to access PSO2 & Team 3's creations, the risk is still there. I could be wrong about that with how current PSO2 and NGS is like. Speaking of remakes, PS1-4 would be cool, it don't have to have the FF7R treatment, just make it good.

Yeah i already given my own takes for their way of developing content in this game on my own video but, at this point i wonder if the game literally catering for Casual players but then by then, what's the point of min-maxing and Hard Bosses for then? If they had done Leciel exploration's system, why didn't they just copy and apply the same system to most of the previous contents so it could be more accessible too for most players based on cumulative damage rank for better loot etc.
